About Hordenine HCL Powder
Hordenine is a compound found in grass plants and some species of cactus and is chemically related to the amino acid tyramine. Hordenine HCL is used as a stimulant, a stimulant tolerance inhibitor, and for weight loss. Hordenine HCL may assist with weight loss, in part, by encouraging the release of norepinephrine. Norepinephrine is an excitatory hormone and is lipolytic, which means it helps release fat from fat cells that are oxidized, therefore increasing energy and reducing overall fat on the body. Hordenine HCL may also prevent stimulant tolerance by decreasing the effect of monoamine oxidase, which is used to break down a stimulant and making it less effective.
The serving size is 25mg-50mg, 2-3 times a day. Tolerance varies with each individual so it is recommended to start off with a smaller amount to test your tolerance level. Do not take more than 100mg in a 24 hour period.
Supplements to Stack with Hordenine HCL
Hordenine can be stacked with many supplements. Because hordenine HCL is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor it may help prevent stimulant tolerance and may promote longer lasting stimulant effects. Hordenine HCL stacks well with stimulants, such as DMAA, caffeine, yohimbine HCL, and schizandrol A.
PEA and Hordenine
Another supplement that stack well with hordenine is PEA (Phenylethylamine). Taking 500mg of PEA with 25mg Hordenine sometimes provides a slightly euphoric effect along with an elevated mood. PEA by itself is normally metabolized before it has an effect. Since hordenine is an MAO inhibitor, it may slow down the metabolizing process of PEA and will intensify its effect.
Hordenine Side Effects
